This project consists of a vertical expansion atop the existng hospital for 28 new ICU patient beds, renovation of the existing ICU wing for a 10 bed step down unit, and upgrades to the central energy plant. S. B. White performed the HVAC and plumbing work as part of a team with Burleson Construction and Hodge Electric for the Johnson Controls Construction Management Division.  The schedule was aggressive and the job very complicated, however the results are truly impressive.  The new rooms have wall to wall windows offering panoramic views of the mountains as well as state of the art equipment. There is even an open air atrium "healing garden" on the roof and a beautiful family waiting area.
