S. B. White Company was the successful mechanical contractor for Johnson Controls to construct two new state of the art operating rooms at Indian Path Medical Center.  We were part of team with Burleson Construction and Hodge Electric.  These two new surgery suites were added on to the back of the existing hospital surgery area with connections to all of the systems made inside the existing hospital.  The project included a new York rooftop air handling unit, heating hot water connections and piping, chill water piping with connections to existing, new Carel humidifiers, and Johnson Controls energy management system. The work also included new medical gas zone valves, alarms, outlets, and piping back to the existing Oxygen, Nitrogen, Nitrous Oxide, Medical Air, and Medical Vacuum systems in the original surgery area.
