Addition & Alterations to West Side Elementary School -- Elizabethton, TN

 

S. B. White Company was selected to install the HVAC systems for a new 14,400 square foot gymnasium and classroom addition for West Side Elementary School in Elizabethton, TN.  Four new state of the art classrooms as well as support areas are being added with the new gym.  The existing gym/cafeteria will be renovated to be a cafeteria only.  Large new boys and girls restrooms, resource area, and administration and secretary offices will be added inside to fill the space where the old stage will be demolished.  The mechanical system will consist of Trane rooftop electric air conditioning units with natural gas heat.  An all new Trane energy management building control system will also be installed during the project for the entire building.  The project is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
